Allen & Wheelock large frame pocket revolver Model 1845

Today we are going to talk about another antique firearm, the revolver Model 1845.

Some of the specific features of this great gun:

was made by the antique American company Allen & Wheelock from 1857 to 1860. The total output was approximately 1500 pieces. The inscription on the barrel reads: ‘Patented April 16, 1845′ followed by the company name. The design based on the well-known Ethan Allen pepperbox revolvers. This revolver was mainly intended for the civilian market.

As some of its weak points we have that this antique gun does not have sight and safety.
