When you buy the kind of products like antique dolls, it is worth considering if the piece is handmade or mass produced. If it is handmade, is it well made? What is the condition of it? If it is a dolls´vanity or bureau, is the mirror cracked or missing?, do the knobs match? are any missing? Are the proportions of the piece correct? If it is part of a set, are all the parts there? Are the proportions of the complete sete correct? Do they match? Is the piece signed and dated by the maker? Was the piece made for a famous child or a well known person?
