Antique wall clocks of United States

The antique wall clocks were firstly produced in United Stated from 1780 and from 1850 the exportations of inexpensive North American wall clocks helped to the decline of the popularity of the antique wall clocks manufactured in England.

To fairly describe this kind of clocks we can say that have some main features as: an anchor escapement, a long pendulum with a brass bob, a metal dial painted in white, a panel of verre eglomisé and the banjo case (one of the most sought after American antique wall clocks).

We hope you liked this antique story :) .
