The beadsteds are cast-iron or cast-iron and brass beds, and generally the plainer the design theless they are worth. However, the retail cost of a genuine William IV mahogany four-poster bed would be in an expensive price while a later Victorian example with hand carving to the headboard and footboard woulde be much cheaper.
