A.P Casey was an army officer, he worked for the Colt Company as an arms inspector for the american military firearms. This antique revolver was used by the American cavalry from 1876 to the end of the Indian wars. A lot of the military firearms of that time were branded with the APC inspection mark. Today there are only a few original antique revolvers of the Colt 1876 APC U.S Cavalry Model on the market.
