Tranter 1856 army revolver

The Tranter 1856 was built by William Tranter. He made this antique revolver to enter in a firearms test on the initiative of the British Army who were looking for new revolvers.

There are two versions: the civilian and the military version. The barrel can have the inscriptions of other manufacturers like Thomas Jackson and Rigby who produce this revolver too. Have a ramrod on the left side of the revolver.  One of the best  antique British revolvers.
